I am a registered psychologist with a Masters in Counselling Psychology.
I provided compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals navigating periods of uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, and personal transformation. My areas of focus include:

Relational Concerns: From communication struggles to boundary setting, she aims to support individuals in exploring and romantic and social relationships.

Lack of Purpose & Direction: If you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated, or disconnected from your inner values, she will work with you to explore your goals, reignite meaning, and align your life with what matters most to you.

Overwhelm: She provides compassionate guidance to help individuals foster a calmer, more balanced internal experience, strengthen emotional resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of inner peace.
I works primarily with adults aged 23-40 in individual therapy and integrates approaches of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and values-based work to support long-term, meaningful growth.
Additionally, I have obtained training in the Gottman Method of Therapy for couples (Level 1).

Life Changes & Uncertainty: Ellen supports clients navigating the uncertainty that comes with growing up, shifting careers, relationships, grief, and the pressure of timelines.
Family Dynamics & Boundaries: Whether it’s managing guilt, shifting roles, or figuring out how to stay connected without losing yourself, Ellen helps clients explore these dynamics and move toward more honest, balanced relationships.
Self-Esteem & Anxiety: Confidence, perfectionism, and people pleasing are patterns that often underlie anxiety and influence how we show up in relationships, work, and daily life. Ellen works with clients to understand these experiences, build a stronger sense of self, and create space for self compassion, healthy boundaries, and emotional clarity.
Ellen works from a holistic, trauma-informed lens and integrates mindfulness and somatic-based practices, drawing from her yoga teacher training. Her approach is collaborative and client-centred, using evidence-based modalities such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Narrative Therapy, and other strength-based methods.
